CHiL engineering experts present latest advances in computing power
Tewksbury, MA - June 26, 2010 - CHiL Semiconductor Corporation, a leading developer of high-performance, mixed-signal power management integrated circuits for the server, personal computer and high-volume computing market segments, announces that it is attending Darnell's Power Forum (DPF): Advancing Power Technologies that Matter, to be held in Chicago, Illinois on September 13-15, 2010. Two CHiL technical experts will present papers at the focused three-day international forum highlighting practical advancements related to the latest powering solutions. CHiL will also showcase its technology at the forum.
David Williams, CHiL’s director of systems and applications engineering, will present “Designing for Transient Loads that Exceed Thermal Design Limits.” The talk will review the latest industry trend of CPUs and GPUs requiring short bursts of high current and discuss how CHiL’s digital algorithms optimize the VR design.
Frank Kern, PE, Staff Engineer, will present “Complex Serial Bus Termination and Specialized Digital Filtering in Noisy Digital Power Applications,” which will highlight how digital filtering offers powerful noise rejection utilities capable of restoring communication in noisy designs, a new and highly relevant requirement in servers and desktop systems.
