Manish is a Principal in Highland’s Menlo Park office focused on digital media and Internet investments with an emphasis on early-stage consumer technology. Manish will use his extensive reach into the local technical community to identify and work with the next crop of game-changing startups.

Background
Manish joins Highland from Google where he has held diverse product management and executive management roles. His experience includes serving as a Lead Product Manager for Google’s advanced imagery and 3D mapping programs as well as being the Product Manager responsible for launching the first search and recommendation engine for Google’s TV initiative. Manish also worked extensively on the company’s advertising systems developing key components of both AdWords and AdSense.

While at Stanford, Manish was selected as Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Economics Journal; he was also the recipient of the Chilton Award for his work in engineering and the Sobieski Prize for creative thinking in Economics.

Interests
Manish is actively involved with the non-profit community in the Bay Area and has worked closely with social entrepreneurs in East Africa.  He also enjoys tinkering at his local woodshop in San Francisco.
